Our Fees and Cancellation Policy

The Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) recommends a fee of $270 for a 50-60 minute session for Accredited Mental Health Social Workers.

At Holistically You, we make sessions more accessible with our standard fees per session from 1st June 2025:

Individual therapy: $195.00 per session (Medicare Rebate Benefit $87.25)
Family therapy: $215.00 per session (No Rebate Benefit Applicable).
We do not provide Bulk Billed Services.

We also welcome private clients without a referral, who are self-funded.

Fees must be paid on the day of the session, via cash, Eftpos, credit card or direct deposit.

Cancellation Policy

We ask that you give me as much advance notice as possible when cancelling a session.

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. However, to manage our schedule effectively and accommodate all clients fairly, we kindly request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please contact your clinician if you become unwell or ill and a telehealth option will be made available to you.

Please be aware that cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled session will incur a cancellation fee of the full session cost. This fee compensates for the time that had been set aside specifically for you. A new appointment will not be made until this fee if paid.

If you arrive late for an appointment, your session time will end at the appointed time, and you will be charged the full session fee.

Clients who repeatedly miss appointments without notice may have their service suspended or terminated.

Clients who's sessions are funded by a third party, are bound to the third party's funding guidelines. Where there is no financial provision for cancellation fees to be paid by the third party body, this may become the responsibility of the client themselves.
